"The room felt worn overall…"
The room felt worn overall, and the bathroom could definitely use better upkeep. It wasn’t the worst stay, but it did make the place feel less comfortable than expected. Has anyone else noticed the same issue?

"Decent location, but not quite ideal"
The hotel was in a good spot, we could walk to a few nice places, and getting to public transport was easy enough. That said, it was noisier than I expected, and it didn’t end up being as central as we’d hoped for the things we wanted to do. After a few days of trying to figure out routes and deal with little inconveniences, I was just tired of making everything work. It was okay overall, just not the best location for our trip

"Basic cleanliness was ignored"
I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but the room really didn’t feel properly cleaned. There were dusty corners and hairs in the bathroom, which was off-putting. clean sheets and a clean bathroom feel like the bare minimum, so it was frustrating that even that basic request seemed to be ignored

I slept really well with this. I’m usually a bit picky depending on the room and what I’m used to, but in this case it was comfortable enough that I actually noticed how well I rested.

"Decent, but I Was Hoping for Fresher"
It wasn’t bad, but I did feel like it could’ve been a bit fresher. For me, freshness makes a big difference because it changes the whole experience from just okay to something you actually look forward to enjoying. I’d probably give it another try, but I’m hoping next time it feels a little more vibrant and just-made.

"Really fast both ways"
It was super quick both ways, I mean, I barely had time to wonder when it would get there before it was already handled. No complaints at all

"Cosy, easy stay"
The room had everything I needed, really really nice shampoo, a comfy bed, good towels, and coffee too. It felt cosy and easy, just no fuss at all. I’d happily stay again.

The staff were really friendly and helpful the whole time. Check-in was smooth, actually, I’d say it was easy, with just a couple of short waits here and there. Overall, it was a nice stay.

"The hotel had a good vibe…"
The hotel had a good vibe, and the staff weren’t unfriendly at all, which I appreciated. But the room was smaller than I expected for what we paid. We couldn’t hardly find a good spot for our bags, and moving around got annoying quick. The bed was comfy enough and the bathroom was clean, so it wasn’t bad or anything. I just wouldn’t say it’s ideal for more than a night or two unless you don’t mind tight spaces.

"I did like some of the wood…"
I did like some of the wood accents and the little decorative details, and my sister pointed out a few cute touches too. But overall, the place felt darker and more worn than I was expecting. The rooms had that boho style, but to me it came across a little messy rather than cozy. The atmosphere also wasn’t as relaxing as I hoped, it felt more cramped and busy. It wasn’t awful, just not the warm hotel vibe I thought I was paying for.

"A Bit Too Noisy for Me"
I could hear a lot of street noise and doors opening and closing throughout the night. I slept okay, well, not really that great honestly, because it was hard to fully settle in with the noise.

"Not worth the hassle or the price"
I expected a lot more for what I paid. The room was basic, and then all the little extras started adding up, which was annoying. I also felt like I had to keep figuring things out myself, and that just made it feel like more work than a stay should be. It’s a nice enough place, but for this price, I don’t think I’d stay again.

"Spa Was a Bit Disappointing"
I booked this place mostly because of the spa, but it was a letdown. It felt small and not as clean as I expected. The sauna was okay, but anyway... for the extra cost, I don’t think it was really worth it for me.

"Booking was okay, but double-check the details"
I booked a room through Guldsmeden Hotels and everything went through in the end, so no major issues. That said, the reservation page wasn’t the clearest for me. I had to go back a couple of times to make sure the dates and price details were right. The confirmation email arrived quickly, which was reassuring. If you’re booking there, I’d just suggest taking a minute to double-check everything before you click through. Overall, it worked fine, but the process could be a bit smoother.

"Really liked the bathroom here"
Stayed at Guldsmeden and the bathroom was one of my favorite parts. It had a simple cosy look, shower pressure was really good, and everything was easy to figure out. I also liked the small eco touches they added. It felt clean and practical, not too fancy or overdone. I’d happily stay there again.

"Good sustainability vibe, but a little uneven"
I do like that Guldsmeden gives the impression they actually care about sustainability, the organic products and reduced-waste touches around the hotel were nice to see. It definitely feels more thoughtful than a lot of places. That said, a few things made me wonder if the eco focus is applied everywhere or just where guests are most likely to notice it, like the heating and some small single-use items here and there. Overall, it’s a nice effort, but not quite as consistent as I expected

"Booking hiccup handled really well"
I had a bit of a problem with my booking at first, and I think part of it was on me for not double-checking the details properly. The hotel team at Guldsmeden sorted it out really quickly though and kept me updated the whole time. They made the whole thing feel easy instead of stressful. I really appreciated it and would happily book with them again.
